You master Relativity from data preservation to production and want to rethink eDiscovery with AI? At Caserock Investigations you take responsibility for the entire case handling in demanding proceedings and build AI-based workflows with us that do not yet exist.

Your responsibilities

Case handling end-to-endYou own the entire eDiscovery lifecycle: data acquisition and forensic preservation, processing, early case assessment, review management and production. From the first data delivery to a court-proof handover.

Relativity and Relativity aiRYou set up workspaces, design review workflows, coding layouts and search strategies and deploy Relativity aiR for review and case strategy where it counts. You measure quality and efficiency and keep optimising.

Self-hosted platforms and custom workflowsAlongside Relativity we operate self-hosted solutions from other providers, in particular Farsight. There too you own the entire flow from processing to production. You use their APIs to build custom workflows, automate process steps and unlock potential that standard interfaces do not reach.

AI-based workflowsYou develop and implement AI-supported analysis steps, with cloud-based models (in particular AWS) as well as locally run models where data sovereignty demands it.

Advising the case teamsYou are the technical counterpart of the legal advisers: you translate legal questions into robust data strategies, assess feasibility and effort and accompany proceedings through to completion.

Quality and documentationYou safeguard chain of custody, traceability and the defensibility of every step and document processes so that they hold up in proceedings.

What you bring

Several years of deep experience with Relativity (RelativityOne or Server) across the entire case lifecycle, ideally with a Relativity certification (RCA, RCU or comparable) and hands-on experience with Relativity aiR.
Confident use of further eDiscovery and forensic tools such as Nuix, FTK, EnCase or Cellebrite, together with a solid understanding of data formats, metadata, deduplication, threading and load files.
Experience with self-hosted eDiscovery platforms and a liking for developing your own workflows via APIs instead of stopping at the limits of the standard interface.
Experience with large, heterogeneous data sets (email, chat, collaboration platforms, mobile, structured data) in complex proceedings, ideally in the context of internal investigations, cartel or criminal proceedings.
Knowledge of legal AI: using and evaluating language models for classification, summarisation and prioritisation, experience with cloud infrastructure (in particular AWS) and an interest in locally operated models.
Structured, precise work under time pressure, clear communication with lawyers without a technical background and a sense of responsibility in handling highly sensitive data.

Also helpful

Scripting (Python, PowerShell, SQL), experience with Relativity automation and APIs, knowledge of data protection and professional law, and English at a business-fluent level for cross-border proceedings.
